LOCATION

Casa Mia is located in Jl. Merta Sari, a branch off Jl. Oberoi, just behind Ultimo Restaurant and Entrecote restaurant, inside Gang Pribadi 7, being the last villa on your right entering the small alley (gang), where a sheltered empty lot opens on the right side, with a wodden door.
You will find handy to print the map that follows and give it to the taxi driver at the airport. Even better make an advance arrangement with the owner Mr. Augusto to have a dedicated car waiting for you at the airport Arrival Gate.

Eating out & essential supplies

In case you would like to get out for eating, you will find many alternatives at a very short distance from Casa Mia.
  • Jl. Laksmana - ex Oberoi (within 3-10 min walk): for the best Italian restaurants find true gourmet paradise at Sasà, Ultimo and Trattoria. Or international cusine at KuDeTa and La Lucciola. Japanese venues at D'Hana on Jl. Petitenget.
  • Jl. Raya Seminyak North and Jl. Kunti (15 min. stroll, or 5 min. by bike): Made’s Warung, Queen’s Tandoor, Mannekepis, Warung Italia, Unico.
  • Jl Raya Seminyak South (within 25 min by walk and 10 min by bike): Ryoshi for Japanese, Pantarei for Greek among many.
For a different taste try out local warung: the Warung Murah just at 5 min walk in the Jl. Oberoi; another at the very beginning of Jl. Drupadi from Jl. Kayu Aya. Both serve genuine local dishes, with vegetables, fried fish, bakso soup, chicken and fritters at very cheap rates and with easy take away.

Highly recommended is the Warung Kazuya on Jl Drupadi 1, a paved branch off the larger Drupadi that runs from the D-Mart supermarket to the Queen’s Tandoori. It looks like a simple warung but the chef and owner, Kazuya Takami, is a superb one with a true touch for tastiness, lightness, selection of best ingredients and combination of Japanese, local and vegetarian cuisine.
Also recommended, for espresso lovers and Sacher torte lovers, is the Cafè Vienna, on Drupadi,  and the Cafè Moka on Jl. Basangkasa, oth at 15 min walk from Casa Mia. They serve espresso, capuccino, savory sandwiches and complete meals and a superb brown organic bread to integrate your home breakfast and supper.
For those who cannot make without wood oven pizza, each italian eatery makes it at his very best.

To catch the popular sunset facing the Indian Ocean and its high waves, recommended is La Plancha, a 2-storey eatery on the left side of the beach facing the sea, at the end of Jl. Dyanapura, at 10 min by bike from our villa. The Spanish owner will grill tasty sardines and cuttle fish and other typical tapas to indulge until the sun has set, and more.

A large offer of basic food&beverages and toiletry is to be found at the Circle K ministore, 200 m from the villa, in jl. Oberoi. Larger supermarkets are the Coco in Jl. Oberoi, the Bali Deli in Jl. Kunti and the Bintang in Jl. Raya Seminyak.
